Podere Castellare is a traditional Tuscan farmhouse, situated 20 km from Florence near the national Park of Vallombrosa, the property is part of the Chianti area and extends for 35 hectares. Immersed amongst olive groves, vineyards and cypress trees offering stunning views and tranquillity. Podere Castellare has been transformed using a total ecological concept into a delightful sort of hotel in the countryside. The reception is selling our own products such as biological extravirgin olive oil, soaps and Tuscan specialities from the area.
The common living area consist of a nice sitting room with sofas and armchairs, bookcase and little tables. Furnished to a high standard. There are extensive gardens and terraces to relax, a swimming-pool (15 m) with sun armchairs, tables and sun umbrellas. Changing room facilities and a small bar service. Directions to Podere Castellare
Motorway A1 Milan Rome, exit Florence south. After about 500 m following to the right for Bagno a Ripoli and follow than for Pontassieve. Arrived in Pontassieve, on the roundabout following the right direction for Consuma. At the end of the viaduct turn right taking the dual carriageway n° 70 for Consuma and after about 100 m on the left for Consuma Diacceto. After approximately 4 km you will reach the village Diacceto. Go steight on and immediately after Diacceto turn right for Ferrano. After about 500 m you will find on the right two cypress and the entrance for Podere Castellare.
